Walking into the Guelph-Humber building today, coffee in hand, I picked up my free copy of the Toronto Star on my way up to class. I sit down at my desk, glance down at the front page and after a minute or so I notice a few interesting things.
1. Why in the name of all things editorial does an article on the laziness of the Wikipedia generation of university students trump a failed missile launch by North Korea in placement, word count and images? Seriously.
University Students Obsessed with Wikipedia:
Word Count: 210: Front Page, 572: Continued on page A12, 782: Total
Images: 2 colour photos
Placement: Top placement and headline on Front page
North Korea Obsessed with Rockets:
Word Count: 146: Front Page, 240: Continued on page A6, 386: Total
Images: None
Placement: Bottom right corner, front page
Both articles were found in the Toronto Star on Monday, April 6, 2009.

2. The twitter headline was cute. I loved the Starbucks shout out, but what coffee addict wouldn't?
